In 1974 Saint Josemaría went to pray at the shrine of Our Lady Aparecida in Brazil. He said: “How happy I was to go to Aparecida! You were all praying with such faith! I said to the Mother of God, who is your mother and mine: ‘Mother of mine, Mother of ours, I pray with the faith of all my children. We love you so very, very much…’ And it was as though I could hear in the depths of my heart the words: ‘With deeds’!”
