“Today we’ll thank God our Lord for the good things we have received in the year that is now finishing. For the one that’s about to begin, seeing how things are going in the world we live in, and the way so many people behave, we want to have the rectitude of intention to be humble, to return to the truth always, and hold still more tightly to our Lord’s hand. Perhaps you’ll want me to say something more about the New Year, but first I would like us to make up our minds to serve really and truly, completely. So I’ll tell you, specifically:
