A good job in China

Tags: novena, favours of the founder of Opus Dei I had been working in China for almost 2 years. My wife and 2 college kids were back in the States. My wife decided to leave her job as a principal of a wonderful Catholic school in the Pittsburgh area to join me in China. Initially she enjoyed the downtime from the very stressful job of being a school principal. About 3 months after coming here she started to suffer minor depression. She needed a job. I worked long hours and since we were empty-nesters she spent many of those long hours alone at home. She searched the local China classifieds and websites for possible teaching jobs. We had lived overseas before and she had over 14 years of international school teaching experience. We thought it would be a very easy for her to find a job. We were wrong. 2, 3, maybe 4 times she was shut down on a potential opportunity. This was very depressing for someone with her experience coming off probably the best job of her life. About that same time I had read a testimonial about someone who had found a great job after completing the St. Josemaría Novena. I found the Novena and ran off a copy. My wife and I completed the Novena together: her for a new job, me to be able to do my job better. Almost to the day we finished the Novena, she was contacted by a new international school that needed teachers and admin people with experience. The school was created to help students who wanted to attend the local international schools but needed help to pass their tough entry exams. She was interviewed for the job and was hired on the spot. Thank you St. Josemaría for your intercessions and thank you for helping my wife find a job that utilizes the wonderful skills and talents our Lord has given her.
