Young people can play and learn at the same time with the new St Josemaria memory game . They can learn about St Josemaria’s life while matching pairs of pictures from the book Yes! The Life of Josemaria Escriva for Young Readers.

Taken from the book Yes! The Life of Josemaria Escriva for Young Readers, by M. Carceles and E. Torra, the pictures show key points in Josemaria’s life as well as homely incidents, especially from his childhood. The game also gives a simple narrative to go with each picture, showing Josemaria’s warmheartedness, focusing on his teachings, and explaining the work he was given to do by God.

Narratives to go with the pictures

For those who have never played this kind of memory game (Pelmanism), the instructions are also included:

1. Spread all the cards out, face downwards.
2. Taking it in turns, each player turns up two cards. If the two cards are the same, the player keeps them. If not, they are turned face-down again.
3. The player with the greatest number of paired cards is the winner.
4. At the end of the game players can read out the captions that explain their pictures.
