What is the meaning of life for you?
To enrich the world around me and to leave the world a better place.

Why do you think life is worth living?
Relationships – with God, family & friends. Music. Smiling. Nature.

What helps you when you’re going through a bad time or meet some unexpected difficulty or suffering?
Prayer, especially the Rosary. I turn to Mary for help. I also seek the examples of those around me who have embraced suffering with joy, such as the saints, people I know, or people that I have studied in history or literature.

What does being a Christian mean to you?
Being “Christ Among Us” in society. Living the 10 Commandments & practicing the sacraments. Participating in your local parish, and finding ways to serve and practice apostolate.

What about being a Christian in the middle of the world?
Praying for all of my friends, no matter their religious background. Placing God at the center of every encounter with another person. This means keeping a childlike, joy-filled spirit of love and affection to all those that one comes in contact with, which I find an especially powerful tacet of being a Christian in society.

Are you doing anything to make the world a better place?
Trying! One friendship at a time. And I hope that my job in real estate working to provide people with a roof over their heads at a fair price will allow them to live more abundantly in the world. It’s a simple call to holiness, but I try to work in a state of prayer.

How would you explain who God is to a friend?
God keeps me grounded; a steady companion to embrace all joys and all sufferings. He inspires me to do good, and I am nothing aside from his conduit in the world. He is both the greatest friend and the source of all that is good in the world.

Will you go to a Mass in honor of St. Josemaria around June 26? Where will you go?
For sure. It will be held in Christ the King Church, Tampa, Florida.
