On February 17, 1949, Fr. Joseph Muzquiz, a young Spanish priest, arrived in Chicago to start Opus Dei’s activities in the United States. His cause of canonization was opened in Boston in 2011. Nowadays a new biographical documentary about Father Joseph is being premiered in upcoming days in several U.S. cities.
Dora del Hoyo was born in Boca de Huergano, Leon, Spain in 1914 and died in Rome in 2004. In 2012 the Cause for her Canonization was begun. Dora always sought after happiness, the deepest happiness that one can find: the happiness of serving others: God, the Church, and all souls, in every moment.
